Dipped my toes back into domains for the first time in years today, bud on a nice brandable on @namesilo expired auctions.

Bid was at $1 I put a proxy at $5.01 to my dismay I lost the auction to a bidder at $5.00 how do I loose with a higher proxy bid, placed earlier!

Understand that.

I had a standing bid of $5.01 before the bidder put $5 on, so let’s round down and say my proxy was $5 neat, I already had the amount that the other bidder put down on the domain, shouldn’t the other bidder have been rejected and the current bid price been mine at $5.
