Nameserver change at GoDaddy not working

I make a nameserver change at godaddy 26 hours ago, why has it not changed, they are pissing me off, if that continues Im moving all my domains away, what the hell is taking so long, i got shit i want to get done and it keeps telling my host that that DNS servers are still pointing to the other and cannot set up addon domain,

If you go into your account and click on the domain name, you should see your new nameservers listed almost instantly after having entered the nameserver information -- it just takes awhile afterwards for DNS propagation. It should resolve within a couple days unless something is wrong.

If you can't figure it out, consider using a service like www.dnsmadeeasy.com .

sometimes it takes a bit longer. almost always DNS change at Godaddy takes less than a minute, though I remember a few times it only changed on the next day...

If I'm not going wrong they say that nameserver change can take up to 48 hours (even if it usually takes around a minute!). So I'd say you'd better wait untill 48 hours are done and then, if you cannot still see any result try and contact them: I've always received nice replies from their customer care in less than 24 hours

I set 5 names servers yesterday and with in minutes the they took. It is rare for me to see it take more than a few minutes. I've only had to wait more than 12 hours on a couple of occasions.

This is true with masking and forwarding as well.

I might call them or reset to default and try again.

Start > Run > CMD > type "ipconfig/flushdns"

It could be your computer that's causing it, godaddy is super fast for me, always.

In reality it is nothing to do with Godaddy. I can change nameservers for 20 names and most will change quick, yet three or four will take a extra day. Its normal.

welcome to the world of dns propagation. all registrars have to go through it - not just godaddy.

also, patience is a virtue!
