are we just too busy?? :)

I've been having the same issue even just for logging in sometimes and I end up clicking the X button to exit the page because its taking forever and when I go back right after exit out I'm already logged on. But most of the time I've been getting the Server Error Page when i tried to go from one thread to the other.

Bottleneck perhaps?

I know. In peak hours (mid-day) the speed is not great.

The good news, I've already got a second sever in place that will become a dedicated MySQL server. This should greatly help things out. There will be a few hours downtime when I do the changeover so I'll schedule it for sometime this week and let you guys know.

A bit slow, I guess there's just way too much users on at the same time than the server can handle.

Last week was terrible, I kept getting error pages and timeouts. But I have to say, this week is somehow much better. Overall however, I agree with smash - it is somewhat (I am being nice here :) ) slower than other forums.
I feel guilty complaining though, since it has given me so much knowledge and understanding of this business :)

Its mainly as weblord said, due to growth. This time last year there were half the members there are now!

Having to upgrade a server is a good thing....it means there is more demand :D

I have also seen a large decrease in speed. I used to load namepros in just a few seconds, now it's about 10-20 seconds. Especially after submitting a post, it takes about 30 seconds just to take me back to the thread.
