What is up with that? The bank is richest now? Also, that font was huge, not normal size like it was supposed to. At first I thought acts was acting up again and made it big, but I was wrong, he wasnt online :notme:

50000NP$ is a lot! Furthermore, bank has 8 positive transactions? :|

not a database error.
Someone is modifying the code and messed with the if($user!="bank") print $user or something of that nature

Please, change to if($user!="dgaussin") print "dgaussin" and I'll take a snapshot

David.

well that way would be complicated... easiest thing to do would be to just do $user="dgaussin"; after it's queried from the db :)

Everything's fine, folks. I'm working on some of the code that powers the NP$ system to give it better auditability and maintain the integrity of the currency and created the 'bank' account.

Currently the NP bank mints a brand new uncirculated NameBuck everytime you make a post on the forum. I am modifying the sytem to instead transfer NP$ from a 'bank' account to members when they are earned. This will allow us to audit the currency and indentify any security breaches or exploits immediately. Also will give us a baseline for how much cash reserve we need in the bank to guarantee value of the NP$.

The 'bank' account is not an actual NP$ member and will not be counted in the richest members list.

When you do a transaction on the NP$ exchange, the notices you receive upon a successful transfer come from username 'bank'. I'm guessing those users that left feedback inadvertently entered the bank's profile page from the PM, meaning to go to the user they transacted with.

'bank' is not a real person. That account is only used to send notices of bank and np exchange transactions.

Nothing wrong with giving the bank a positive. If you are happy with the speed and accuracy of the transaction why not lay a big plus on it.

Reinforces the quality of NamePros in everyone's (especially new members) eyes IMO.
