Yeah, numerous threads about this issue have begun over the past few days. I thought everything was fine, but the problem seems to be reappearing today..

I've been troubleshooting this issue for the past couple of weeks and think the problem has been located.

The NamePros drop search utility will have to be disconnected for the time being. This was processing expiring domain lists every four hours and may have been what was slowing the server down.

The speed seems pretty good right now, please post in this thread if you experience any other slowdowns .

Works fine now, but I couldn't access the site at all a couple of hours ago... (all other sites worked fine)
The same thing has happened several times the last couple of weeks..

yesterday the site went down several times for me but today not experienced any difficulty but ive not been around too long.

Site up and down for me yesterday. Could not log out and then later discovered that the text I had written had been duplicated several times and the post repeated twice.

This happens many times a day for me.

Its a real shame, I want to use the site regularly but I cant at the moment.

Hope something can be sorted soon or who knows what the future holds.

Today has been OK. The last two days before that were unpredictable.

Problems seems to be mysql overload once we hit a certain level of activity on the site.

I've just learned the art of optimizing a server for MySQL and have increased our cache and memory levels dedicated to processing queries. Let's see if this improves performance now.
