    • Escrow.com (Recommended): Starts an Escrow.com transaction for you and allows the buyer to pay immediately.
    • PayPal: Creates a PayPal transaction for the buyer to pay directly to your PayPal account.
    • Email: You and the buyer use email to choose a payment method (e.g., crypto), discuss lease-to-own (LTO) options, etc.
  • Location: Country, region (e.g., state or province), and locality (e.g., city, town, or village) of your inquirers to help you understand where they are located, the best time to contact them, etc.

Sneak peeks are tricky because we have so many configuration options now that the possibilities are almost endless.

As a small example, for each of the 360 hues that you can choose, you can also now choose Light, Standard, or Dark (360 * 3 = 1080 colors):

Blue background:

Additionally, you can choose to make the background a solid color or a gradient (1800 * 2 = 3600 background options).

You'll also be able to choose the background of the banner where the domain is displayed to be a solid color, gradient, or the default image with circles. Eventually, we'll offer more image options.

And then there's the option that adds all the standard Dan-like text (e.g., FAQs) that everyone likes now.

Looks great. Just one question (sorry if it's been asked before):

Does it have to say "Free domain parking provided by NamePros"? Can it simply say "Domain parking provided by NamePros"? The word "Free" sort of cheapens it.

Question for anyone: another lead came in and verified their email address but no initial offer. The lead saw the BIN as a result of verifying their email address. One minute (or less) after they saw the BIN they chose the BIN price which lead to another "Good news! A buyer is ready to pay your price of USD <BIN for DOMAIN-NAME-HERE and is considering your selection of payment methods."

I used to love receiving these emails because IMO they're 95% of the way there.

However I have received 4 of those types of emails since August, twice for this particular domain (no apparent connection between the leads, so totally different companies).

None of these leads have ever responded back to my emails. And this doesnt include those who have bid offers up to the BIN price and accepted it. There are even more of those. I could understand those not following through but not leads who verify their email address and then within a minute later they're chosen BIN.

So, this time, I am thinking of something a little different. Since escrow.com is one of the payment methods I have chosen I was thinking in addition to my standard email where I thank the lead for interest in the domain and to let me know if they have any questions about the process to ALSO create an escrow.com transaction for the purchase of the domain.

Does anyone see any issue of being a bit more forward than my usual greeting type reply to a lead after receiving a "A buyer is ready to pay your price" email from the NP landers?

Has anyone else tried this with or without success?

I always create a link to escrow when responding to buyers via email requests. Some follow through, others don't. But I provide it - and explain the escrow process. The problem with buttons that just "go to escrow" is that many buyers don't know who or what Escrow .com is, and they are given no instructions on their lander

Thanks. In my standard reply I provide one entire paragraph about escrow.com, who they are, what they do, how they protect both buyer and seller and are neutral but to contact them for any further questions.

The only think I have not (yet) done is provide my own link to an escrow.com transaction.

I will try with this one.

Thanks - yes... but just to clarify, the two BIN offers (for this particular domain name) were made from completely different people, from different companies..
I do not see that the might be connected in any way but still a possibility.

I have marked unreachable for some, need to do that for others. The list of offers/inquiries is getting a little bit unwieldy. :)

I agree. NamePros needs to step it up a notch or two to become a viable alternative in this market.

I am not doing escrow.com, nor will I accept PayPal directly. If they can look at implementing what Dan had, I'd gladly pay them a commission.

With all the problems at Afternic, now is the time to move in and grab a market share.

I agree, the iron it hot right now. Afternic and Domain.io/Aftermarket are having issues. Andrew Rosener gave a scathing review of Afternic's "Boost". He's the #1 domain broker on the planet.

We're not certainly alone in agreeing to pay a commission to have namepros become the leader in sales landers. I am willing to pay 5% to dynadot, was willing to pay 9% to DAN. Their back-end financial acquisition abilities warranted their commission. I wont willingly transact with GoDaddy / Afternic simply because there are too many persistent problems - its a perpetual beta-test.

Of course, its up to NP if they wish to go further than they have already and handle financial transactions of this nature. There is no doublt it would be a very lucrative avenue for them but again, its up to them.

For now I'd love to see some sort of automated method of the lead clicking "Dynadot with no buyer commission" and then see what happens.

I've got a mid-5 figure BIN lead not responding for 3 days to escrow.com (whom I also do not enjoy conducting business but will if I must) that I may contact and change to Dynadot 5% for me "add lead". The only question about that is for Dynadot, which I already posted for them, is there any protection for the unlocked domain during the wait period?

Namepros seems rather committed to NOT charging for their landers. I think they have mentioned that some features would be 'premium' and only open to NP paid subscribers, but they appear to be pretty certain they don't want to charge for any specific services. However that might always be open to change, since there are a lot here whowould be happy to pay 5-10% commission for someone to handle payments.

For now I'd love to see some sort of automated method of the lead clicking "Dynadot with no buyer commission" and then see what happens.
Yes, I have to agree - some sort of integration with Dyna's 'Add Lead' would be handy - I am in exactly the same boat as you when it comes to trying to avoid GD/AN and Escrow.com.
