Hey, domain sellers! 👋

We have a special surprise for you.

Continuing from last year (and last week), we have some exciting updates to share with you about NamePros Parking Landers!

First, consider this:

You price your domain name at $2,500. For years, hundreds of interested buyers want to buy it, but the price is too high for them. They don't even try to contact you because they don't realize that the price is negotiable or may change. Years later, you decide to lower the price to $995. How many previously-interested buyers would buy it at this lowered price? You’d never know — until now!

With our new Buy Now options, you can finally contact those previous buyers to increase your sales opportunities. 💸

Here’s how:

Our landers have an option that requires buyers to confirm their email address before they can see the price. Once confirmed, the price is available to them and their email address is available to you. Simple and effective. Learn more on DNW.com.

3. The way they generate links, I don't think possible to automate, but if it was possible GoDaddy link to pay would be popular.

I think it would have to be some manual field you pasted the Cart link into, and then the customer would receive it, but it would be more professional and provide better record-keeping format than email and Excel.

Currently, yes because this helps sellers deactivate domains that have sold or expired.

If we add soft verifications as a feature, then that won’t be necessary anymore, but it will result in more outdated listings, accidental sales, and fraud, unfortunately.

We can probably come up with a better solution for any domainers with privacy concerns.

Please reach out to us.

Just so I understand this:

1) If you use a DNS TXT system you need to leave the TXT entry active at your registrar and the only way to list is to forward each domain to https://namepros.com/parked/example.com?

2) If you use the user-specific nameserver setting then= you can change the nameservers on all domains, and the listed domains will automatically appear on a NP lander?

Yes, but forwarding is not the only way. Here's an example of what we mean by "link to it":
Notice the link on the "Buy this Domain Name" button. That configuration is using TXT verification.

CNAME is generally a better option than TXT if you have a lot of domains because it will handle the verification and redirect with a single method.

NS (name servers) is the easiest method and provides the most features.

2) If you use the user-specific nameserver setting then= you can change the nameservers on all domains, and the listed domains will automatically appear on a NP lander?
Yep, that's the easiest and fastest way.

That's also true for CNAME, depending on your DNS provider (e.g., your registrar).

Do you have your domains spread across multiple registrars or at a single registrar?

We can provide more specific guidance for your particular registrar if you'd like.

No worries as I have that part all in hand, and I'm more interested in choosing the method with the least work while also keeping privacy concerns in mind.

I may list newly purchased domains with you guys, to keep the workflow manageable and have the ability to test-run all three options. Then, if I like the process and the results, move more over.

Thanks for all the help.

One more inquiry:

I saw the "Coming Soon" features with the ability to add a logo, graphics, images, etc. on the landers, but is there already, or is there a plan to provide, something basic like a choice of background colors, like on Dan?

I really liked that as I could switch things up for holidays, seasons, etc. or just change colors to freshen the lander up every few months.

Yep, we currently have these options, along with a hue slider:

Those settings can be set on specific domains or all domains.

Our designer has also been working on expanding that over the past few weeks.

More to come!

Awesome and it looks great.

Hope you can add 'hex color codes" as a future update, as that's what I use now and I find it a lot easier to center in on, than a slider or color wheel.

I just find a color I like, slap it in my graphics program and bingo, instant color code that I know is right.

Thanks again as you guys are working overtime.

If there was a bit of a discussion @ NPs about anything rack assembly + domain name ... google will pick up the blab in 1-2 min & neutralize "Loneliness" (can't find much info on other sites ).

.... just some info that will require you to think about park & popcorn vs park and do something

@Bravo Mod Team
I have a buyer who has initiated transaction via namepros lander through escrow.com for $24,888 but, the escrow commission displayed including concierge service fee seems to be erroneous (1.72%), from their old fee schedule.

The buyer is being asked to send funds without any rectification from escrow.com as well.

I would like this looked into and clarified/resolved immediately especially since I have a pending transaction.

Congratulations! Love to hear about sales through our landers. ❤️

On our end, the only thing we send to Escrow.com to enable concierge is the following:
Code:
 "extra_attributes": {
               "concierge": true
           }

We do not specify or have any control over the fees that Escrow.com places on transactions.

We'll reach out to Escrow.com's developers to ask about it, but for your transaction, you may want to contact Escrow.com's customer support, give them the transaction ID, and they should be able to assist you quickly.

Let us know if you need help with anything.

Maybe transactions through partners like us are grandfathered into the lower fee structure from before, since their fees changed after our implementation? That'd be nice. 🤞

In any case, intentional or unintentional, Escrow.com should honor what is being shown to your buyer, in our opinion. They can update it for future transactions if it was unintentional.

There's a good chance this transaction might be fake but, the escrow fee discrepancy is serious.

Instead of assumptions, certainty would be nice.I'd rather not have transactions disrupted because of misleading info or API related discrepancies.I would like you to verify this with them and clarify.

I would like you to verify this with them and clarify.
We've reached out to their developers, but they tend to work regular business hours.

For 24/7 support, only their customer service is available, and their customer service won't speak to us about your transactions.

We'll let you know once we hear back from their developers.

Please let us know if you hear anything sooner.

@Bravo Mod Team, just wondering if you have noticed an increase on landers?

My assumption is bots (or another entity) is doing some heavy scrolling...in my case, this morning it went from 20-30 visit/page for top names to almost 300. Some names having dozens of visits to landing page in minutes.

I don't have a problem with traffic but hope this isn't something else.

All of a sudden, today, "real time" views are at any given time today in the hundreds when normally there are < 10 and usually its under 5 within the past 30-min. So something is definitely different today.

We aren't seeing much change in this across the board today, but one of your domains may be experiencing a traffic spike (e.g., a news website may have linked to your domain by accident).

Is there a single domain under "Views by Page title" accounting for most of that increase in real-time traffic?

Bots are constantly crawling parked pages (and just about everything else on the internet), but Google is better at filtering out some than others. I've noticed an increase in the types of bots that Google often thinks are human. The bots in question don't actually submit inquiries; they're often from R&D companies that are just scraping content.
