Hey, domain sellers! 👋

We have a special surprise for you.

Continuing from last year (and last week), we have some exciting updates to share with you about NamePros Parking Landers!

First, consider this:

You price your domain name at $2,500. For years, hundreds of interested buyers want to buy it, but the price is too high for them. They don't even try to contact you because they don't realize that the price is negotiable or may change. Years later, you decide to lower the price to $995. How many previously-interested buyers would buy it at this lowered price? You’d never know — until now!

With our new Buy Now options, you can finally contact those previous buyers to increase your sales opportunities. 💸

Here’s how:

Our landers have an option that requires buyers to confirm their email address before they can see the price. Once confirmed, the price is available to them and their email address is available to you. Simple and effective. Learn more on DNW.com.

    • Escrow.com (Recommended): Starts an Escrow.com transaction for you and allows the buyer to pay immediately.
    • PayPal: Creates a PayPal transaction for the buyer to pay directly to your PayPal account.
    • Email: You and the buyer use email to choose a payment method (e.g., crypto), discuss lease-to-own (LTO) options, etc.
  • Location: Country, region (e.g., state or province), and locality (e.g., city, town, or village) of your inquirers to help you understand where they are located, the best time to contact them, etc.
  • Bulk Management: Set options on multiple domains at the same time: prices, payment methods, appearance, etc. using our website's interface or your favorite spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).
  • Exports: Download a list of your domains and their settings, customizations, and inquiries, including buyers’ email addresses, offers, etc. (CSV format.)
  • Domain Verification: Verify your domains by using any of these methods: name servers (NS), CNAME, or TXT records.

actually there is no way to use np landers unless we make np account. this results in new members... who post... view ads.. click on sponsored links.. buy memberships ...and whatever else... so when they say use landers that's the benefit part for np... np dont need to charge shit for landers... they already profit from it indirect... of course fully deserve it too. just pointing out to obvious in case anyone ask themselves... cheerios
Agreed on everything except the profit part.

NamePros is very open with us about the fact that it invests anywhere from 2X to 10X more than it makes into the community, every year. Never less. Fortunately, private investment in NamePros is mostly a "paying it forward" endeavor, not a for-profit one. Otherwise, NamePros wouldn't exist. NameBio's similar.

This industry needs far more philanthropy if it's ever going to advance; currently, it's just NamePros and NameBio. Yes, both earn money, but their inputs are not even close to their outputs.

So while you're right that the landers help NamePros grow, it's not in terms of profit. It's in terms of participation and hopefully leading to a healthier industry.

While I agree with your point, I also recognize that significant financial investments being made. My main argument is that members would likely just be willing to pay for this service separately. There are various ways to implement this, which could significantly accelerate development.

I definitely see both points and agree with both. I, too, would pay some sort of fee to receive certain benefits. Of course, perhaps they'll consider those testing and suggesting grandfathered in. :xf.wink:

In a garden where wisdom blooms,
A tree stands tall, its colors loom,
A bouquet of knowledge, vibrant and bright,
A symbol of gratitude, a guiding light.

NamePros, a beacon in the domain sea,
Investing in community, selflessly.
Not for profit, but to give back,
A philanthropic heart, never slack.

From 2X to 10X, they invest with care,
Paying it forward, a vision rare.
Without such spirit, they wouldn’t exist,
In a world where profits often persist.

NameBio too, follows this path,
Giving more than they earn, a generous math.
This industry needs more of this kind,
Philanthropy leading, a future aligned.

So while free
landers help them grow,
It’s not profit, but participation they sow.
A healthier industry, their ultimate goal,
With wisdom and kindness, they make us whole.

I have tried to eliminate some deleted/deleting domains by uploaded the list again. It found some other errors too. Originally everything was approved, but now there are some other errors too. Which seem to be mostly typos with my new list. What is the best way to delete some domains from my sales list. I processed aprox 1540 domains but there were only about 430 processed. What happenned to the rest? I'm now pretty confused. Is there any chance to I can go back to the position before this last update about 6 hours ago?

I was looking at the NP Lander for one of my domain names.

When filling in the OFFER, once you click into that field next to USD, the NumericUpDown arrows appear.
I don't think that is needed -- it might actually stop the user from putting in a value. For instance, they start to write 100 but realize once they type 1 the arrows go up/down in increments of 1 dollar

This might indicate to an end user that they can get the domain name cheap and stop typing what they were originally going to offer. What I mean is if they see the up/down arrows move in increments of 1 dollar, they are more likely to think it's possible to get something for maybe $5 or $10 -- because they moved that up arrow alot in their minds.

I would change that field to be freeform numeric (no up/down arrows). Just validate that they entered a valid numeric

@Bravo Mod Team ,this sounds tricky. I support this suggestion to have it removed.

Agreed, don’t know why that’s there. We’ll remove it.

Edited to note that it seems to be added there by the browser. It does not appear on mobile.

I agree...the hover part is a little much. Privacy page would be enough as it is already disclaimed by the large line at the bottom "Descriptions are provided by the seller."

We can probably do this for VIPs, but it might be too much of a liability if we did it for non-VIPs.

Edited to note that this was added as a VIP-only feature.

Interesting -- just tried on Chrome and Edge -- both put that Up/Down arrow there.
My iPhone did NOT (like you said).

You have alot of data -- does one of your data points indicate Mobile vs. Desktop/Browser? It would be interesting how many single-digit offers come in across all offers made are from Desktop Browser.

I have quite a few offers of $1, $3, $5, $10 (before putting in the MIN across my entire portfolio) and wondering if all of those came from a Desktop Browser that displayed the up/down arrow

Did most of the domains show as “Ignored”? The status “Ignored” just means that they were already approved and are actively listed in your account. That status is a good one because it indicates no problems, just duplicate entries.

Please feel free to send us a direct message if you’d like to privately share anything with us (e.g., a screenshot of your imports page) so we can assist better.

It’s probably a better use of our resources to just stop the arrows from showing rather than to analyze their prior impact. 😊

I think it would be interesting/fun to experiment with two mandatory fields, one below the other:

1/ My current offer for this domain
2/ My maximum budget for this domain

As a follow-up question, what strategy would you adopt when presented with these two mandatory fields, as a buyer, @Bravo Mod Team?

Most buyers don’t have any context of what they’re doing when they’re making an offer. They would probably assume they’re dealing with someone acting on their behalf and input their true maximum budget.

A savvy buyer would not share their maximum budget, even with a broker or representative of theirs.

It’s a very interesting idea!
