Hey, domain sellers! 👋

We have a special surprise for you.

Continuing from last year (and last week), we have some exciting updates to share with you about NamePros Parking Landers!

First, consider this:

You price your domain name at $2,500. For years, hundreds of interested buyers want to buy it, but the price is too high for them. They don't even try to contact you because they don't realize that the price is negotiable or may change. Years later, you decide to lower the price to $995. How many previously-interested buyers would buy it at this lowered price? You’d never know — until now!

With our new Buy Now options, you can finally contact those previous buyers to increase your sales opportunities. 💸

Here’s how:

Our landers have an option that requires buyers to confirm their email address before they can see the price. Once confirmed, the price is available to them and their email address is available to you. Simple and effective. Learn more on DNW.com.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
You can set a minimum offer individually or globally in the settings.
Yes, the BRAVO team mentioned this global setting. The Individual setting won't work because it would take too long for me.

I could set a MIN of $1,000 for my entire portfolio, but how do I set another MIN for the higher priced names? I would have to do it individually and that won't work for me.

BRAVO Team mentioned BULK is coming soon -- I can't wait :)

I added a $1,000 MIN across my entire portfolio just to test this out.

I just tried this to test it out.

1) added $1,000 MIN across all my domain names
2) so it does NOT show when the buyer first visits -- they will enter a small amount (or leave blank)
2a) email popup to confirm email address (1 email to buyer)
2b) assume they confirm, they get offer rejected because too low (2nd email)
2c) they can make a new offer, if it still is too low it gets rejected (3rd email to buyer) -- then MIN offer is displayed

I think the MIN price should be displayed after the first rejection. This prevents them from getting too many emails (which might frustrate the buyer)

OK - I think this might show "frustration" on the part of the buyer. I just added the MIN across all of my names. And this just happened about 15 minutes ago -- you can see the 3 emails I was talking about. Buyer seems to have gotten frustrated and typed in $10 Trillion Dollars to get past the MIN Offer. BTW, I accept the offer if they are serious :)

I agree. People just keep entering bids until they go over the minimum. It should tell them the miinimum and prevent them from sending an email until they hit the minimum. After all, that's why we set a minimum - to avoid wasting time with lower bids.

Party at your place! :P

Did they start with the 250 and then go DOWN to 200? And then back up? That seems strange.

I've had very similar happen at DAN some time ago. For one domain, I received nearly 50 MIN offers almost, like from a bot, within about an hour's time, and some of the offers were absurd like that top on in your photo.

I dont know what the answer is, myself. Its a frustrating part of the business. I wish the process were more like physical real-estate but it isnt and likely will never be.

Now do the price available instantly by enabling the BIN .I was expecting buyer should have gotten an email stating you won't accept anything less than your quoted minimum.

I got a reaction similar as buyer was guessing and started from 100 until they went up to the BIN I set but still in the works as it was a mid 5 figures.

When they are ready they will pay .In it for a long term .

You have no way of knowing they asked you to email them without email confirmation.

Someone else could have entered his email address, either accidentally or maliciously.

I agree with you re the email... what I personally have issue with is the price isn't shown prior. if the price were shown and then they wanted to put in their email for a "special offer or to be notified of a special discount in the future" or something similar, then I'd agree 100% that requiring the opt-in is warranted. My issue has more to do with the fact that the pop up block creates too many hurdles before the price is shown. There should be a hurdle before one is emailed.

After writing the above it simply may be that my desire to show a BIN price may make me not a good candidate for NP landers which are designed for a different purpose than I have.

On the positive side the landers loaded fast, were very clean, easy to read/understand and loaded re of my ad blocker.

That user did not have a MIN (unless I missed it in their writeup).
That user did use our minimum offer feature as we described.

He called it the “meet-my-entry-point” strategy.

You can see more details here:

I noticed that Archive.org (Wayback Machine) is archiving the NamePros landing page for parked domains, and I don't think anyone wants this.
Why would you want to block it from being archived? Sales statuses are already archived in various ways that cannot be blocked, such as DNS.

It should tell them the miinimum and prevent them from sending an email until they hit the minimum. After all, that's why we set a minimum - to avoid wasting time with lower bids.
That’s exactly how it works, after 1-2 blind offers.

My issue has more to do with the fact that the pop up block creates too many hurdles before the price is shown.
Coming soon.

Why not just show them the minimum after their first offer instead of having them make a few blind offers? All they need to do is keep feeding it random offers until one comes through, and it's usually something high that they won't be willing to pay. I feel it's more professional that way and keeps the fake bids at a minimum.

It's a compromise because some sellers never want it shown.

It's the middle ground: Learn more.

Maybe have a toggle in our settings so we can choose the behavior? Then everyone is happy
Then it couldn't be free, unfortunately. Development and maintenance are very expensive.

As a free service, we can offer reasonable solutions for most situations; we cannot offer an option for everything.

We hope you understand.

Edit: Please continue to share your suggestions, even if we can’t do them yet. We may be able to do them in the future.

The decision to offer this service for free is entirely yours, but it’s clear that this approach has its limitations, and Sellers have quite a few reasonable demands. I’ve mentioned several times that I’m willing to pay for your service in any form. I’ve suggested various options. If you truly want to move forward, I believe more significant steps are necessary, such as removing the dashboard from the forum design to make it as user-friendly as possible. Additionally, enhancing API integration with partners would help cater to Sellers who prefer minimal involvement.

Free is better. Support the service by using it. 😊

Once the core free functionality is finished, maybe we'll offer extensive customization through an optional paid plan.

Then we'll send everyone your way to thank for it. ❤️

actually there is no way to use np landers unless we make np account. this results in new members... who post... view ads.. click on sponsored links.. buy memberships ...and whatever else... so when they say use landers that's the benefit part for np... np dont need to charge shit for landers... they already profit from it indirect... of course fully deserve it too. just pointing out to obvious in case anyone ask themselves... cheerios

While I agree with your point, I also recognize that significant financial investments being made. My main argument is that members would likely just be willing to pay for this service separately. There are various ways to implement this, which could significantly accelerate development.
