    • Escrow.com (Recommended): Starts an Escrow.com transaction for you and allows the buyer to pay immediately.
    • PayPal: Creates a PayPal transaction for the buyer to pay directly to your PayPal account.
    • Email: You and the buyer use email to choose a payment method (e.g., crypto), discuss lease-to-own (LTO) options, etc.
  • Location: Country, region (e.g., state or province), and locality (e.g., city, town, or village) of your inquirers to help you understand where they are located, the best time to contact them, etc.
  • Bulk Management: Set options on multiple domains at the same time: prices, payment methods, appearance, etc. using our website's interface or your favorite spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).

Just to be clear - I generated a checkout link from afternic and it was a dan.com URL. The buyer used that link and somehow the transaction got stuck somewhere between afternic and dan. Even funnier was when afternic (after a few days) asked me to push the domain to them after the domain had already disappeared from my account via fast transfer. But eventually them managed to find it. :xf.rolleyes:
Oh, okay. I guess I've been lucky not having any issue with it yet. I will be glad to have the sedo option again.

ADD: I'm just curious why kilometer vs mile? Oh, it is based on the origin location of the inquiry, correct?

There’s only like 3 countries in the whole world that use miles instead of meters, and even scientific communities within those countries use meters instead.

Yes I don't know if I would ever need most of the information provided on an inquiry, but it is impressive. Clearly the location data is the most critical. To all involved in the lander project, fantastic work.

By the way, I really appreciate the OpenIt link at the top of NamePros in the announcement about the lander. It allows me to readily check over and over each day that I indeed have no new offers or inquiries !! Seriously, although I do check the associated email account regularly, nice to have such an easy way to get to the offers.

Okay, this begs the question...what is the breakdown (country wise) of NPs users?

My assumption (I know, I know) is that a higher percentage comes from the US, followed by UK, with users contributing from all over the world. That is the reason I thought miles would be the unit of measure.

Well, one day, we in the US will FINALLY convince the rest of the world that miles are the way to go. :xf.grin:

My dad was a chemical and mechanical engineer and he traveled the world. He had an office in Germany and in Honduras and did his best to get me to use the metric system as a child. I was in elementary school when 'they' said we would be slowly converted. Actually, I am surprised the US has not made the move yet...I'm sure there is some top secret reason our government has not made the change...:cautious:

I remember in 1975, President Ford wanted us to begin using metric more. I see there was H.R. 8674 that was passed "Metric Conversion Act". I remember the entire class of 6th grade every one of us got everything wrong after being taught for those first 10-11 years Imperial. We could not get the hang of it and in later grades it didnt show up as much until I was in Engineering in college where everything is metric. Physics, Chemistry but not Electrical - that was already standardized globally. For me, I learned enough of it just to complete the assignments and work.

However, to this day I still cant wrap my head around metric!

I have never given it a try but, in terms of exposure, is namepros doing a better job than Dan, afternic, sedo, etc? Is it worth it to have your domains parked here?

If there is some sort of proof that supports that it would be amazing and a win-win (less commission which in the domain investing game is a huge difference) and at the same time higher chance that the name gets sold. What can be better than this?

The best proof is that the same types of sales that happen at other marketplaces are also happening with NamePros Landers. Domains are what sell, not the landing pages, so you might as well not give up 20-30% of your sale for no reason.

All sales through our landers are private unless sellers decide to share them.

Tried my first NP lander. Not what I hoped for. The price is blocked until the email is verified. I realize most of you want the email but for me, I really don't care. Show the price even if someone doesn't want spam to verify their email. I mean, how many hoops can you make someone jump through to see a price?

I realize I'm likely in the minority here - but these landers don't work for me. Perhaps when you add the ability to customize them with branding (ala Dan) I may deal with the email verification blocks. But at the moment, I prefer Bodis who just shows the price with Escrow attached. Both are free - and Bodis doesn't have any hoops for the end user to jump through.

yea I told them to disable emailconfirm if we pick the all setting. like bodis does and everyone else.. but they are in love with confirming email. for me that just scares buyers.away. I want all inquiries. confirmed or not. and in my mailbox. if I pick the all setting.

I'll wait for this change before I'm here. anything else and u just give buyer extra work plus some people just dont see and or forget they need to confirm. not for me. cheers.

I tried the Namepros Landers, but it won't work for me without BULK updates using a CSV or TXT file -- Min, BIN, and also download of all names listed in my account.

I'm getting alot of zero offers, and also a bunch of low-ball offers -- at least a MIN would filter out this type of activity.
