I have been trying to log into NamePros via Firefox on my new Mac. However, the system keeps saying that I have submitted the wrong password, BUT that I have used 0 of 5 attempts. I can only long in on Firefox on Win2000.

Does vBulletin not work on the Mac?

I'm not aware of any issues. I believe Grrilla uses Firefox with MacOS here.

Could possibly be a cookies problem. Try logging in at either http://www.namepros.com or http://namepros.com and see if there is any difference.

I love Macs ,especially with Fries
But for a Computer, a REAL Computer USER uses PC's
and before I get any HATE mail from MAC Lovers
I USED to own a Mac , But then I came to my senses
But seriously , It sounds very much like a Cookie and /or FireWall setting Problem
MacOS and FireFox should work even better than IE on a PC
MacOS is at least a real Operating System ,unlike WinDoze XP
(a Hacked version of MessyDOS running a Crap GUI)

Just a quick update: I still have been unable to log in via Firefox or Safari on the iMac. Using a public internet service now. Will check again and update, thanks all.

Had that exact problem just yesterday, using WINDOWS/IE!

I refreshed the page then it worked... and also put the default IE security settings which did the trick

Okay, this is how I managed to get it to work. When I initially failed even to log in on Win2k (IE) at the internet cafe, I knew that it was not a Mac issue. So I clicked "Lost password" and went through the whole password change procedure. Somehow, this "resetting" was required, and now I can log in even on my Mac through FireFox. So I am back! May this be helpful for somebody else down the road who may face this problem. :)

Could it be that your browser is set to not accept cookies and the session cookie cannot be set ?

I doubt it since I have been able to log into all other forums, bank accounts, etc.
