Anyone fairly local to SW Missouri up for a NamePros canoe trip? 12 miles down the Big Elk River..

I'm thinking July or August but let's get some discussion started.. we can decide as a group.
I've canoed with these guys a few times on the shorter course but would like to try the longer one this year and it would be fun as a group.
I know alot of us live in the Missouri (Green Gambler is up near Kansas City, for example), Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska areas but of course anyone willing to make the trip is welcome.. big BBQ, see the sights!

I live in Carthage, Missouri.. I have a one bedroom apartment or I'd be willing to put a dozen or so up for a night or two but there are plenty of inexpensive hotels, campgrounds.. maybe we can camp at Big Elk.
