Singular vs Plural

Just curious, went over Namepro and saw a parking page.

How much traffic will actually leak over to the singular version or vice versa? :o

I have never typed in Namepro on accident before. I'm sure some people do but the thing is that it would mostly be domainers who accidently end up at namepro so they probably wont click on anything and they will know right away they are not at the site they want.

However, your absolutely right - almost anyone going to NamePro will not bother clicking on an add - I bet the CTR is under 4%

Its too bad NamePros cant sure up that domain name... I think it would be a nice move, considering the "other" forum, just acquired its LLL.com (DNF).

I just typed in namepro.com, but the page is completely blank, no ads or anything

I don't think any domainers would click on those ads if there was any on it anyway

I never type in Namepros.com fully. I type "na" and then click one of the 2000 occurrences of Namepros.com from the dropdown box (Firefox).

plural is the much better fit imo, I wouldn't spend the money to aquire NPS.com , unless i was filthy rich, No need imo, NamePros.com is known all over the world, and has been published in BIG write ups

But seriously,I've actually never typed in the site in a browser. I always go through my bookmarks. It's weird, visually I see Namepro in my head, but when speaking or typing the Url, its NamePros... kind of wierd

I am sure a LOT of people type namepro.
Namepro sounds much better than namepros, but since namepros is a forum (and we are on it), it make more sense that namepros is much more valuable.

Namepro sounds like it would make a great registrar.
