I buy domains to develop into websites and resell. I enjoy building websites, so I look through my domain portfolio, find a domain that interests me, and start to build a website for it. I normally prefer a WordPress blog, but I also develop some pure html one page websites. I throw some ads up on the site, and even if it only makes a few cents a day, combined with my other sites it pays for the hosting and then some. I also buy domains to resell them. Basically anything I think I can get more than $8 for, even if its not much more. I normally try to stay away from the domain trends, sticking with the standard .com domains, and then resell them here at NamePros. I don't park too many domains, partly because the domains I own that would make money parking, I resell, and then the rest of the domains wouldn't make anything. I just prefer developing the domains that interest me, and reselling the ones that don't, or that I don't have time for.

Currently, I buy domains to park them at 80%, to develop websites at 10% and the last 10% are for personal use, friends or... customer. Because some people doesn't know use websites to register their domain names, I register for them. I can sell higher, and it's fine...

I buy cheap domains, very crappy ones that no one wants, design them, keep them to see if they are good with adsense.. then probably sell them hehe yup

I buy some to keep and develope and others I sell and park to fund the ones I am developing. This way the site doesnt need to support itself in its first few weeks or during a lul. Id rather develope all my names but I am only one man and I would need to be on 24/7/365 to run that many sites.

Side Note: Making a successful website that people use, enjoy, and support is more satisfing then selling a DN that you were never attatched to in the first place
