NameBright is playing games with it's Bulk Search Tool
The tool has always been a useful one, letting us check the availability of up to 5000 domains at once
But lately it's been providing super misleading information, saying that domains which are actually available, aren't available..
Here's a list of 28 domains Iv'e used as an example:
agdronemag.com
bardrones.com
bkkdrone.com
boozedrone.com
brandrone.com
busdrones.com
davisdrone.com
dronebouy.com
dronecabal.com
dronedoon.com
dronedrain.com
droneflik.com
dronegroan.com
dronehills.com
droneita.com
dronemeta.com
dronesups.com
dronetesla.com
dronetoweb.com
droneuhire.com
engidrone.com
howdrones.com
idronespy.com
idronet.com
jasadrone.com
mmcdrone.com
picbydrone.com
So when I enter all 28 names into NameBright Bulk Search, it completely rules every domain as unavailable, see below:
Okay...but when I take those same names over to any other Bulk Availability checker, it says the complete opposite, it says that the names are infact available....Iv'e tested it on OnlyDomains, Name.com, and GoDaddy and all 3 have come back with the same response of the names being available to register:
Only one is listed as unavailable. But the rest are all good and ready to be bought
Makes me wonder...how many times have I entered perfectly good domains into NameBright which could have totally been available to register, only for them to tell me that the domains are taken..probably have missed out on plenty of good names because of this
Maybe it's because all the domains contain 'Drone' as a keyword, and maybe NameBright picks up on this since Drones are a popular niche and so they want to keep all these names for themselves incase they see any value in them...hmm I'm not sure
Just took me by shock a little bit, it's a tool Iv'e been using for ages, one that I thought was a trustworthy one but not sure now, thought I'd share this with all you people
What do you guys think? All feedback is appreciated
