...I'm having a real problem with Name.com.

I paid for a transfer to them a week ago . Still hasn't happened and I haven't received any reply as to what the problem is despite calling them and sending three(3) messages.

I don't care about, well I do but that is another topic, the 9.99 they charged me, but PLEASE let me know if you can or CAN NOT transfer the name over to you.

I may be out 9.99 but that is an inexpensive lesson to find out how helpless they appear to be in transfers...

I'm not sure why there has been a communication issue, but let's get the problem solved for you right away. Can you send an email to akehr(at)name(dot)com? It would be helpful if you could send me your username and a support ticket number if you've created a ticket.

Funny. I always get fairly prompt replies to tickets. Within a few hours usually.

Yeah Stub - same experience here. I had an issue with my NameSafe Fob, and they proactively emailed & called me on my cellphone until the it was solved.

...update - name finally transferred.

I have to report that Name.com resolved the dilemma with the transfer of my domain name.

I did not expect to wake up and find an email stating that the transfer went through. Apparently it seems to have been a problem outside of name.com and dynadot.com. They identified it and resolved it in a most professional manner.

My thanks to Alex and the Name.com support as well as dynadot.com.

I knew that the registrars involved are professional in their desire to resolve the problem.

Name.com can expect more transfers to them during the month.

Again, job well done, thanx...
