MySpaceSavers.com . . . [My Spacesavers, My Space Savers]

Yes, Tupperware, closet savers, etc. As such, no trademark problems [especially with the current page on the site now]. It's one of those items that you'd be surprised how much Americans buy of them every year; a multi multi million dollar industry and there's not a (major) retail chain that doesn't carry them (and most minor stores also). I've seen that type of product so many times over the years on everything from QVC, trade shows, Target, Sears, infomercials, etc. Though you won't find 50million results on Google for exact phrase, "Space Savers" is a an exact product, so the results are highly targeted and specific.

Estibot "Total Competition" score for this DN is 9/10. This metric means that advertiser competition for the keyword is highly competitive. When that is the case, the more memorable the DN, it holds more weight than in less targeted categories.

No different than My SuitCases, My Spaceship, or My Spacedust, generic terms are not enforceable against TM (unless you advertise these as "MySpace brand Space Savers").

With that said, the obvious spin on the popular phrase doesn't hurt... - wink ;)

i would avoid the myspace thing altogether. Don't snub the traffic just make it clear that is not your topic or content focus.

Too funny..... that there is a segment on right now on CBS "The Early Show" about organizers and space savers.

I wish I had the time... (or that I didn't already have bigger fish in the 'to do' pond). I'd love to setup the vendor list, drop shipping, and separate merchant account and develop this site myself. There is only one DN that is more specific to this market..... obviously that would be spacesaversdotcom. Although, because of the spin ["MySpace"], I wouldn't write off the possibilty that I could [with a little sprinkle] brand this one bigger than the other afforementioned site. With both DN's having somewhat similar branding potential, that means everything else is on even footing.. i.e. it would be an even race between me and the other site that would just come down to who can market the better mousetrap.

Ah, oh well.
