MySpace and TurnKey

Hi there,

I thought I should post this in the newbies section (my first post here even though I am a member since a while ago).

I am kind of ashamed of asking this at this stage but I just cant go on without an explanation on this.

Ok, the thing is I have heard tons of times about MySpace sites and TurnKey sites. Most of people tend to avoid them when buying sites but they seem to be valued for advertising.

The straight questions: What is a MySpace site? What is a TurnKey site?

Obviously, details on how they work and what are they used for would be welcome too

A myspace site is a site with MySpace resources. Simple as that. (Example: http://www.myspacelayouts.org/)

A turnkey is supposed to be a site that makes money, without you doing anything.

lpxxfaintxx pretty much answered that question for you....but I figured I'd add this also... when you say myspace site are you meaning myspace profiles?....because some people also are selling and buying those up. Even though it is against myspace rules....that is where the "advertising" part comes in. Some myspace profiles have thousands of "friends" and when you post a bulletin you are "advertising" to a big crowd.

Just to add my 2 cents in here as well. Turnkey sites are fully operational sites that one buys. These could come in the form of Adult sites, Shopping sites etc... They come fully loaded with all the advertising and templates needed to run a turnkey site. But here's the catch. If you can buy a turnkey site, then there's a million other people doing the same thing, so the market niche is lost and it's quite plausible that your site might not be as successful as advertised.
