Well, this was my last premium reg that took place a week ago.....took it due to the fact that SANJOSE has the largest concentration of IT companies in the world and is in the ten most populated cities in the USA......the third largest in California.....
With SKG's SANANTONIO as an example, who knows, forces could join up with other geo owners on this forum to create a real network of geo sites based upon shared software costs that would result in a killer portal site with WEB 2.0 applications that would be the homepage of choice for those city dwellers looking for a myspace like place to hang out, but with more of a club type atmosphere.
There is no doubt either that GEO domains, particularly city domains are proven business models, and there are already a number of relatively new geo businesses looking to expand in a very major way in the coming months.....
So SANJOSE seemed to me to be a sensible reg. In fact there seems to be quite a few players right now in and outside of this forum who have made some big bets recently on CITY geos.........
Not knowing that this would definately be my last reg for 06 due to the freeze on premo discounts, I am pretty happy with it.
I probably would have regged two more that I had my eye on, my intent was this Friday in fact, but am more than happy that I didnt and can now wait and see which way the wind blows in the coming months.....
