domain My first TEL

Hi all This my first domain in TEL zone - aqua.tel
Some opinions ?

How do you propose to use the name Aqua.tel? I'm not sure I understand the end use....

bone-aqua (domain aqua.com) or the companies which do filtering, delivery water to office, tm think it's not a problem. But there are a too much registrations - most of interesting domains are gathered (god and devil - someone got too) =)

Yes, I guess there are some possibilites there...
Just remember....with .tel, it should be something quite specific if possible... That a directory can be born from..

eg. Bicycle(s).tel Everyone who wants info on a bike will type this...And once at Bicycle(s).tel, the could branch off into road bikes or mountain bikes,kids bikes,unicycles,ladies bikes,bike accessories..etc...

Aqua is somewhat specialized

Sorry but it is WAY to early to start assessing .tel values. I mean we are still in landrush period! I like .tel and have registered a few geos but we are in the very early stages.

To be honest I see nothing special with .TEL, it seems like one of many other countless extensions past the credible ones.

There is little value right now until a market is set. I don't think demand for a new extension during a weak economy is going to be huge though.

Appraisals for .tel are out of the question right now as far as I'm concerned.

Far too early to put a price on it...

yes but whatever happens, the best generics and geos must be worth more than the landrush price that's for sure, whatever happens so anyone that has a few is sitting pretty. Domainmonster say this landrush has been 400% bigger and faster than the last one.. of couse there are no auctions with this one, so that would account for some of that rush, but if you look now, within a matter of a couple days, just about all the decent generics are gone. Here are a few more that I searched out about 12 hours ago that were still there, not sure if they are now though, hope this helps, Im just getting sick of folks buying up less than premium names for $300+ each:

I personally don't think "those" names are very advantageous in the .Tel extension... Which is probably why they are available...

For instance... meat.tel could be compared to sldkfldshfowe.com in my opinion. It doesn't suit the extension and has little chance of monetization.

You must think differently with .Tel. Regular "key" or "premium" words may not carry the same weight in .Tel.... and some "non premiums" may carry MORE weight....

well your probably right about meat and fruit.tel and probably LCD.tel but most of the others would be perfect for .tel, even as directories and a lot better than some of the names people have registered IMHO. Service related names are a good pick as you would find in the current yellow pages.
