Hi, this will be my first appraisal request for a bunch hand reg .Tv, I need some light which to keep and which should be grace deleted.

I had a hard time to figure .TV compared to .Com reg since there is a lot more choice to pick from.

A simple yes or no for the names will give me some foundation on future reg. Thanks.

Harm.Tv....maybe for self protection lesson

Shut.Tv .... only realized BladeMaster ask for an app for it after reg yesterday
Striking.Tv ... for combat games site

Please let me know if this names have any reason to be kept, since it just some words with out a specific thing associated with it. I'm really clueless although reg it with the approval of my gut feeling....wish I'm right.

Criticize.tv

This is the best TV domain :gn: in the lot, goes very well with TV critics. High $xxx+ to Low $x,xxx :imho:.

Yes it is easier to find keyword domains in .TV than .COM. However, the easier availability can get expensive for new domainers who have not yet learned what constitutes a good domain. The demand for .TV domains is far less than .COM so one has to be much stricter with regs. Ask yourself, "Why would someone pay money for this domain?" What sort of website would be launched on this domain? What type of product or service could be sold with this domain? Would you be able to launch a business on this domain? Does it sound good as a brand name? You will also want the keyword phrase to have search volume using Google Adwords Keyword Tool. In .COM you can sell brandables. Regging brandable .TV domains is too risky for me.

I have dropped hundreds of domains regged my first two years in domaining. Unfortunately, bad regs are common among newer domainers. So don't feel bad about this statement - however, I would not reg any of the domains you have listed above. List them at Godaddy & SEDO for ~$100-$200 each and maybe you will get lucky with one or two. Best of luck.

There is some great advice above. It's great that you have the option and know-how to grace delete. There are a couple of names here that are borderline keepers.

I would ask myself two questions.

1. After reading the comments in this thread, how many of them would I register again?
2. If I grace deleted all of these which ones would probably be immediately picked up.

MicroGuy, I can't figure out what you're trying to tell me.... But I hate to grace delete something that I don't understand very clearly. Your words does give the option to keep this names for some time before getting axed.

And I will limit my reg from now one...

As an experiment, go ahead and grace delete all but one or two and see how many that you let go actually get snatched up. There is no reason to hold a name that you don't have plans for if it would remain available anyway. IMO.

Ok, I'm going to drop half of the names and will see if I could learn something from there; but not sure whether Name.com will allow me to drop half of it since the acc only 2 days old.

My advice if you still are within the five-day window & your registrar will allow you to do so (not as easy as it was a couple years ago), drop them all. There is more competition for the quality .TV drops than earlier this year, but there are enough decent drops in .TV that in time you will pick up a few and the money saved by dropping these can go towards future purchases.

GrapTrader.... Name.Com send me a mail stating that they unable to refund even the 6 names I asked to be grace deleted.

Send them reply asking why so..... will wait and see.
