My first directory - what do you think?

I just finished my first directory, and it was quite the task. I have a ton of money tied up into this thing. After doing all of that, I'm not sure if directories are worth it - if I'll ever see a return to break even ya know... but once you get so deep in developing then you feel like you have to finish it.

Very nice work on a niche directory. You might have trouble recouping your costs with free advertising as it stands now, but you have a nicely designed and laid out website that with proper marketing should attract both users and advertisers.

Very cool and very nice directory. The site itself has 0 flaws from what i can see. Love the clean design and looks like a lot of thought was put in to it. With good marketing and promotion this could make some money. Though getting what you paid for it might take a while.

I would have personally used http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/. You can do basically everything you have done there, except for free. Don't fret though your directory is extremely nice and should do well.

I like it. What I really like is how you can add an extra column on the articles page that's not on the home page. I have been trying to figure that one out on WP without too much success (how to have more or fewer columns on a selected page).

I love the design, it's simple and easy to read. Looks like your site has a lot of features too. When I hear the word 'Directory' these days too often I think of the standard PHP Link Directory. Best of luck with your new site,
