Hey there everyone, I have just finished my first ever webdesign! While I may have plenty of experience in hosting, design is an area I lack in hehe.

Go easy on me, but still post comments good or bad please :), keeping in mind its my first EVER design.

By no means take this as an expert opinion.

The hobbnet.com logo at the top is a little hard to read, maybe not make them overlap as much.

You have a lot of empty space in the left hand side & I would say that the vast majority of people when visiting a webpage look to the left hand side as their starting point.

I like the orange color but as you work down the page it gets a bit washed out .

I would eliminate some of the extra space at the top of the page so that immediately you could see the 3 packages without having to scroll on the
page.

You might also want to another contrasting color into the design to make it pop a bit. The "network news" & "testimonial' lettering needs to be cleaned up.

With all that said, Great job on your first design, I cant imagine the amount of time it took to get this far. I'm sure it will get easier the more you do.

Thanks for the honest review, this took about 8 hours to complete. I enjoy/really appreciate reviews because I do take the advice given to me. In many cases review'ers make great points that I was just too negligent to realize.

EDIT: I'm lovin the Avatar mate!

Not bad for a first design!

A little heavy on the orange, the logo is indeed a bit hard to read and doesn't transmit a clean cut and clear visual. The boxes on the right are somewhat washed out on the text and the middle part of your design doesn't line up with the orange side rails.
The package boxes with the stacked servers looks quite neat though.
Overall, it's not a bad design at all, specially not for the first design, it certainly needs a more professional touch to make it commercially usable, though.
