I have been in the domain names industry for about 8 months. 1.5 months is actually the period that I put into learning to invest in domain names, while the other months are waiting for a sale.
During this period i reg 12 domains, from geo domains to 5l domains and brandable domains, exact match domains.

I am in the process of selling the geo and exact match domains. I know I am capable of doing it, this is the list of the other domains; Pavilionclinic.com/ irowe.com/ Helpfromgod.com/ WoodenUP.com/ ProsExpress.com/ Criof.com/ HotelEverywhere.com.

Before any of you give an advance judgment on my domains let's take a look at these 2 domains.

irowe.com: I received an offer of $1,000 for this domain just four days after registering it; however, the sale did not go through for several reasons. One contributing factor was my lack of negotiating skills, coupled with a bit of greed on my part. Nevertheless, the combination of letters in this domain is quite compelling

HotelEverywhere.com: I acquired this domain and discovered an intriguing aspect regarding its keywords. Previously, there was a platform called β€œHotel Everywhere,” developed by Thomas Cook. This platform served as a comprehensive campaign management system aimed at helping hotels effectively reach and engage their target audiences; however, it is no longer operational.
In 2019, Thomas Cook declared bankruptcy, which resulted in significant restructuring and changes to their business operations, impacting many of their platforms and services, including Hotel Everywhere.
So, do you believe if we take in mind this historical significance of the Hotel Everywhere platform will enhance the value of the HotelEverywhere.com?

I am now putting efforts into learning to invest in domain names, starting reading blogs and articles from a variety of sources.

I want from you as an advanced and successful domainer to rate my skills in the domain names industry based on the earlier domains I provided. I know it is hard to determine if i am skilled enough, but if you could add something i will be much appreciated.

Big thanks for this beautiful community.

People like to judge seems like they have x .com. So first rule ignore them

Finding a perfect domain is hard. This is the fact.

And you can never know when or who is going to acquire your domain. So invest but put yourself limit. Don't buy numerous domains.

If you're an investor in domains, they're just inventory to your balance sheet. Thinking about them in any other way will not serve you. If you're an investor with a portfolio, wear that hat.

Never seek validation from anyone on anything. It's not a popularity contest. If you own a sandwich shop outside a train station, do you need somebody to rate your sandwich-making skills?

Your job is to offload your inventory every day. That's it.

Bring the market what it wants, and the money will flow to you. You don't need a blog, course, podcast or community.

Go out into nature and kill something to eat. The lessons learned there are of far greater importance than some free useless crap laden everywhere on the internet.

Domain investing is a marathon...took a couple of years for me to make my first decent sale.

Unless you are sporting a 3L .com or a pronounceable 4L, it is tough determining pricing as a beginner. I've been doing this for decades and just asked low xx,xxx for a name this morning that in reality should be upper x,xxx. I've become attached to the name and was not looking at it with the proper eyes.

Take time to read and learn here...no need for a pricy course...every question ever asked has an answer here...use the search feature in upper right to begin. Take notes along the way.

You only have one question for your financial advisor, anything else is verbose.

"What FCF do i generate"

Look at McDonald's they serve sh*t and crap 24/7 does anyone care? Do they ask Pierre Gagnaire to rate their hamburger?

The business inventory makes enough FCF to acquire more property Assets. The end

McDonald's has uneducated cooks without experience who've never worked in real kitchens preparing and serving food all day.

I see people in $100k cars lining up in parking lots to eat dogshit by people with zero skill. Furthermore, these people feed their kids this stuff.

I wouldn't dare ask another human being. Am I skilled enough..... you think too highly of human beings in the first place, that's your problem.

1.) Give the inventory
2.) Get the assets

Your choices seem to be fine... Normally, the first 12 names for most are really bad.

Now, it took you few months to research and find this. Will you be able to maintain the same focus, quality etc. to scale up into any reasonable sized portfolio? That is to be seen.

Specific names:

- irowe - seems fine. There are end users, there is a meaningful acronym in use "institute for research of work and employment". It is short, sweet nice little name.

- HelpFromGod.com - haven't researched, but seems worthy. One of those instances where .org might be better, but .com is fine too. It is another matter that those spiritual people, organizations etc. don't like paying :) So they will expect you to donate it as a help from God ))

- HotelEverywhere.com - regardless of the history, it is a good name that has applications within a huge industry.

- PavilionClinic - it is an ok name, but will be a hard sell. Mainly, because there is no current "Pavilion Clinic" in the world. There is "The Pavilion Clinic" on .co.uk, but they did not bother to neither register ThePavilionClinic.com nor PavilionClinic.co.uk, so they are not looking for "shorter upgrade", as they are content with "The" version, nor they care about .com which is common for many UK businesses.
