I won a domain on ENOM club drop recently on 4/03/06
The ENOM club drop catching partner was "Private Domains, Incorporated".
Now, as of 4/08/06, the domain is registered and owned by BuyDomains.com
I have heard of this going on in the past, and I have emailed Enom about it. I know of someone else that lost a domain which was registered by an ENOM club drop partner. It's always from the club drop partner where the name loss is going on.
I think this MAY be a whois acrhiving problem.... that is, somehow people are able to transfer names out and get approval. But this latest incident with me, the dates are so close... I won the name on April 3 and the name was moved to BuyDomains on April 08.
If "Private Domains, Incorporated" is a BuyDomains.com company, this is going to anger be greatly. I Googled it and could not find anything.
This is my warning to anybody who wins names using ENOM club drop: Make sure you transfer all your names won by ENOM club drop partners, to the ENOM registrar itself... you can do this within your Enom account, and I believe you dont have to wait the 60 days, though I am unsure about this.
I am awaiting a response from ENOM on this, but I imagine my name is gone. This is BS to the max, and the fact that the hijacker (or recipient) is BuyDomains.com is sandpaper on my wound.
