"My" Domains

I was wondering what people thought of domains with the word "My" in front of it. There seems to be many domains that have "My" in front of another keyword, eg. Mypoker, Mytravel, etc.

Is it a good idea to register domains like this with My in front of any keyword? Do they have good value?

I've sold a few and still own a few. They can be a good alternative if the "my" makes sense with the keyword.

I love MyKeyword.com names, and so does the end user market.

Whenever I use account at any site, you can always click "my account" to
check "your" account status. Why not "your account" then?

My is more personal, makes it seem like your own personal portal.

Didnt have any til today after reading this thread and seeing a few "my" commercials. One of which I seen today was for mypointofview.com.

Been watching alot of those real estate shows too and been seeing alot of a commercials advertising their agents. Those agents that where the gold colored suits, whats that companies name again :hehe: Anyway, alot of emphasis on the gold suits.

MyBlog.com sold for $400,000 two years ago.

I have a number of My . names in other languages including simply My.tw & My.biz (In Chinese) - my favorite is 我的中国.com (My China).

I don't have any and to be honest I think anything more than 1 additional strong keyword after it is a very loooong shot.

I saw that too. A little too much imo, but was probably an end user with a big plan in mind.

Wow thats quite a sale.

If its short and the my in front of the word makes sense then go for it.

They can sell pretty well.

Think of names like

MyDog.com
MyWife.com
MyFamily.com
MyCar.com
etc. . . all great names.
