If any of you .ME domainers read my blog post at Domains, Minisite Development, Domain Parking | BruceMarler.com you will appreciate knowing that the site that I have developed that we are building our main business on is a .ME.

I will post our official press release at a later date but here are a few examples of what we are doing:

We have developed a platform that allows for unique portals for every community within Missouri that allows free classifieds, business listings, free email, etc, etc. We have many more features coming in the next few weeks as well.

The beautiful part is we are using openx ad servers to allow for individual ad management for each of the sites.

We have some other secret sauce we have as part of our business plan that we are using to position a complete online marketing solution to small businesses throughout Missouri and plan on taking this model to all the .ME states that we own (we are up to 24 now).

The initial success has been great enough for me to walk away from a very solid paying "day job"

This is all on a .ME domain. We use .COMs only to support the .ME in other niche areas to allow for unique marketing opps for our customers.

We have already caused a stir in a few local communities, no joke the local news paper got a lawyer and went to the county commission meeting to try to shut us down, not a joke at all.

Thanks Saucey, glad I didn't disappoint.

It is hard to explain the level of complexity and the dynamics of this platform. Kudos to my developer (who I found here on namepros and happened to live within 15 miles of me) for working with me and putting up with my crazy schedule.

This is only the beginning, but as they say, the stars align, within 2 hours of me putting in my notice I had the call and confirmation on a multi region ad in the mid to upper X,XXX range and have a meeting tomorrow with one multiples time that. (Those numbers are not to brag, but just to show with focus and passion things can happen).

The key is development, offering something at a good price, and having a solid story that shows value.

Now the hard part, I am trying to hire 15 to 20 sales people throughout Missouri. We have a few on staff now but want to grow grow grow.

Obviously keeping a bit of the "secret sauce" back that isn't related to the .ME or website part of this, but I wanted to make sure I pointed out as well that the customers (business owners) have all been very positive on .ME and have really liked the branding of it.

I am laughing, and i am sure the mods will be mad at me for this, but why the heck did this get moved to for sale advertising category on namepros. This is .ME news, this is a fully developed .ME site, i am not selling anything to anyone and was only showing what can be done with .ME. Other sites have been shown as developed on here with full press releases.

Mods, can it be explained why this was moved from the .ME thread?
