I could really do with some suggestions! I'd prefer to keep it fairly minimal and with light colours, so bearing that in mind can you suggest some changes for me?

Thanks.

Looks good but should be better with some more images, maybe heading banner.. ;)

I've added a background image to the header, played around with the positioning of everything, and made it so that the sidebar follows when you scroll. Any more opinions?

it looks better in my eyes :)
nice sticky sidebar.. Hmm, think that the text will look better if they're align justified. Nothing else to comment.

Still "washed out" IMO, maybe add some color, this can go a long way without being over the top.

Favicons are always a good idea. Display a RSS feed button instead of just a link. Maybe add in image to the header background, & Instead of using plain text for the blog title maybe a bit more stylized text.

I typically HATE the scrolling sidebar, but your is done very well & follows along smoothly without being a nuisance.

I've added a background image, and some icons. What do you think now?

Agree that it looks rather washed out. Needs some color... needs some structure. It doesn't look like a website. Also, your sidebar is broken in Firefox: images and text overlap, things aren't aligned properly, etc.

A bit off in FF, ok in IE. I like the additions you have made. I would still darken the background images a bit & place more definitive breaks, outlines on the different sections of the blog. With the lighter colors many of the sections seem to run into one another (cloud, main body etc.)

I've changed the colour and style of the header, moved the tag cloud, and fiddled with the sidebar to get it working in FF. More opinions?
