Have you heard of "Must Stream" Its the new term for services like Joost.com and Veoh.com . I hope I got an early jump on it! Companies like Joost and Veoh use this techique to priovide full screen DVD quality television viewing without a significant load time. Its like P2P file streaming. It has been dubbed "Must Stream TV" I tried to get the .com muststreamtv.com but it was taken. So I grabbed Muststream.TV and MustStream.com ! I hope this yields some nice return! Usually the latest term yields a nice quick return if you strike while the iron is hot! Try searching on Google for Must Stream and Must Stream TV, you will see that this term is being used by all the tech blogs, they are usually the first to adopt new tech lingo. Thoughts or appraisals are welcome

not that Google results mean much but...."must stream" on Google yields 9,000 results which is pretty darn low.

By comparison (to pick some random semi-related terms)
"dsl" 104,000,000
"iptv" gets you 17,000,000
"web tv" 3,000,000
"vlogs" 9,800,000
"internet protocol tv" 108,000

so if it is an up and coming term, it still has a long way to go...

(note: the fact that the .com is available, is not a good sign. .com is ferociously competitive for hand regs that have potential...)

good luck and of course anything can happen :sold: but IMHO, this is not one of your better regs...

I gotta agree with antonis12 about this one, it looks like a real long shot.

Any .tv when the .com is still available is usually not worth the $25+ fee compared to $6+ for .com.

I know you said the term is on its way up but it looks like it has a very very long way as the Google results are awful and when i search for "Must Stream" on Overture tool then it says it has NO results.

You also got to think what type os site would be built on this domains IF the term does become well used & common?? I cannot think of many examples that would make it worth a large fee (i hope im wrong)

In my view .tv's arent the ideal extension to try buying for such new words/phrases that could fade away or become well used, it is a bit too much to risk $25+ on a long shot like a phrase that hardly anyone is using right now becoming popular.
If you were gonna buy these type of longterm high risk domains then i would stick to .com as the Reg fee is around 1/4 of .tv and.com extension would suit more end users than .tv.

SOrry to be negative but its my views, please remember that i am not an expert though so i may of badly judged this - I hope you prove me wrong and sell this on for a profit once we are all using the term. %%-

Hey thanks for the responses guys! As I said this term is brand new! This term was coined about 1-2 weeks ago and the major article "Make way for Must Strem TV" is going to be released on the web sometime this month. This term really should have 0 overture score. I am keen on picking up the latest lingo and registering the .com uber fast. In fact about one year ago the term "vishing" was coined in an article, I read this article 3 minutes after it was released and actually had Vishing.com in my cart, but wanting to register a few more all at once to get a discount so I left it in my cart for a few hours and by the time I actually paid for it it was registered and I was issued a refund. Two days later it sold for over $1000. I watch the news like a hawk and I register without hesitation. In my life I have registered over 10 names in .com where all the .Tlds were immediately taken shortly there after. So as I said, there will be no major google results yet or overture whatso ever. In fact the muststreamtv.com was only taken a few weeks ago, obviously someone close to the article and the development of multicast streaming. Most cable companies are setting "must stream" television shows in full screen broadcasts. I promise this term will pop up over and over in this forum! Thanks for your thoughts, I dont view them as negative. Once the Business 2.0 article becomes available online the definition of this term will be much clearer!

Now that this article is online, please read it and then let me know your thoughts about this name!

The direct link does not show the title, but its: Make way for Must Stream TV. Basically the information about this concept is spread out in several different articles. Must Stream Tv, as far as I can tell, stands for multicast stream, it is the technique that Joost will use to serve streaming TV. Part web based, part p2p. Here is another link that has several other articles discussing this concept.

Great article, very very interesting read.

I still dont think your name is a winner, i dont think the term "must Stream" was used muh in the article if at all (i couldnt read it all but read most and didnt see Must Stream mentioned"

IF the term must stream becomes popular then you have a nice name but as far as i can see just now then it wont be.

Maybe im not getting the idea of this name right or im missing something but i'll stick with my original post and say this looks like a longshot.

I agree nothing is set in stone with this one, but here are a few links, in these articles they use the term "must stream tv" describing online programming:

www.heavy.com really is the coolest video site I have seen! They are launching must stream tv as well, with a fall lineup!
