In 2014 someone purchased wwwteslamotors.com for 4750 at GD, it redirects to Tesla.com (Namebio).

As you can see, FB will prob spend somewhere between 250 million to a Billion usd forMeta trademarks.
I believe Apple paid 135 million usd for the iPHONE TM from Cisco for a brand that was minimally active. And hundreds of millions for the iPad Tm rights in USA, China and EU - and never even purchased ipad.com
