I know that the "s" will have an impact but to be honest i asked this question with other forum owners and they seem to think that in today's world it really doesn't matter anymore forum or forums both are excepted and viewed as the same or if you really want to get into it then the Latin is "fora" but that just didn't sound great
I did have a simple machines forum set up on it but i have since removed it as i do not know much french
