I rather see it a bit pessimistic. I would love to see how S-L-O-W came to that conclusion. May be it will help people here not to reg bad names?

Look, some of your names are perfectly fine: stockanalysis.tv, marketanalysis.tv, etc
The madeup words however: thebest.tv, myfavs.tv, uare.tv are not very good regs. Nobody will ever *need* to buy those names from you and so they won't unless you get very lucky. and they will not generate enough PPC traffic for you to park them either
I don't know enough Spanish to comment on your Spanish ones, but the following four rules should suffice if you need guidance:
1) domains that are regular words in real-life or commonly used combos of words in reallife. Dog.tv or dogfood.tv, not mydogz.tv
AND
2) The word is either a product or service that someone out in the real world actually sells (cars, boats, shoes, whatever)
OR
3) An entertainment topic that people in the real world actually make show about (animals, history, celebrities, etc)
OR
4) a place in the real world that has 50K or more population OR gets a lot of tourists
If you do meet #1 + one of (#2, #3, #4) you won't go too far wrong. there are still OK names out there that meet these criteria.
You should NOT however go making up words because the extension is just not broad enough to support it...
