Can somebody please give me an appraisal on Multiplayer.ws?

For some historical background: Multiplayer.com used to serve as part of the huge GameSpy Arcade network. Alot of type ins as well as search engine results. Multiplayer is a term also known by every gamer out there.

So I am wonderign how much can multiplayer.ws cost? All other extensions are taken.

$50 Max, .WS Extension is nearly worthless to most people, but this is one of the better ones.

Yea I just got into this domain business. I will know now when buying other domains. But how about .us? Is that any good?

Holy shit. I just did a search on google.com keyword "multiplayer.ws" and this came up: http://www.giantnames.com/index.php?a=d&id=320

The previous owner tried selling it for 350.00....wow! And he posted it on a few websites...well, hope I can sell it for atleast 1/4 that price :]. First oncei t propogates I'll have to see what kind of traffic I get!

Supra, .ws is a gamble. Not very many companies will brand a .ws making selling any domain in that extension really hard and if you do make a sale, chances are it will not be an end user sale. If you are buying domains to resale, stick to .com .net .org .info .biz and .us if you are in the u.s.a. .us is steaming hot right now but only single word keywords seems to be selling for over $xxx.

Multiplayer is a single word believe it or not. It's like hamburger, a compound word. Multiplayer was taken for every extension, I wish I had it .com. I'd be a millionaire by now :]. Well pretty close to it hahaha. .biz and .info is just not my thang you know? lol. How does this sound, these are some of my crappy unregistered:

gamestores.biz

And I don't want to give out the good single word ones since I have to register them first :].

I personally feel, .ws is worthless except those single letter/number domains and high profile domains(only few are there). But since you say that it was a previously registered domain, You might have some luck in selling it for a price above your reg fee and may be a 10-20$ more. But you cant get 200$ and above as you think.
