I personally always thought the website crossed an ethical line... Seems they might have some serious charges against them.

The website mines data from police and sheriffs' department websites to collect individuals' names, booking photos and charges, then republishes the information online without the individuals' knowledge or consent. Once subjects request that their booking photos be removed, they are routed to a secondary website called Unpublisharrest.com and charged a "de-publishing" fee to have the content removed. "

Pretty serious charges...personally think that they took a high risk with their safety...all it takes is to piss off one hardcore criminal!

If they are sentenced...they better pray that they don't get locked up with the average inmates...

Note that they have been exploiting a problem created by government. I find that practice of publishing police mugshots crazy and humiliating. If you were arrested for DUI or some misdemeanor, does the whole world really need to know about it and see your face ? And then have this information archived at various places on the Internet for the rest of your life, to destroy your reputation forever ?
