MR.org now in live no reserve auction at sedo

Somewhere between $10k and $25k on this one I'd say.

Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone for posting your comments on MR.org.

I would also like to inform everyone that MR.org is now in live sedo auction with no reserve.

Kind regards

Linda, most people think of "MR" as "Mister". While Medical Research and other competent names are available, "Mr" has the unique advantage of being one of the most accepted two-letter combinations in the English language. To me, such a circumstance has far greater value than using MR as an abbreviation.

Frankly, Linda, if you develop this site into a magazine concept as mentioned above, and actually coming out with a "Mr." magazine, getting a couple of investors and perhaps hiring some good editorial talent and online marketing talent, you can probably parlay this name into a cash cow of several hundred thousand dollars a year, with a potential liquidation in the millions (once the economy picks up).

Of course, other considerations have to come to mind, but consider this to be a counterpart to "Ms" magazine...and you can see the possibilities.

If you don't want it, though, I could use it, as it is the initials of my own name, and it would make it easy for me to remember my email address .... LOL... Good luck!

Hi Rantwire,

Thank for your suggestion. Thats an excellent idea.

Somebody else will have to use this idea now as Mr.org is now in live sedo auction with NO RESERVE and ends tomorrow.

That is the most unrealistic thing I have read on a domain forum in some time.

Hi Snoop. Thanks for your opinion.

What happens with Mr.org is no longer down to me now as it is in a live No RESERVE sedo auction which ends Thursday 12 November 2009 and will be sold to the highest bidder.
