Movie related domains

Is it a trademark issue to register domains of the style say: inceptionmovie.com? Especially in cases where the name is just a common english word? If so is there a time related limit, like is it ok to register a name like that say 1 year before the movie is released? Or is it a trademark issue only for corporation-type names?

It's common english word also can register TM?

As i knowledge,

Sony can't register "blue-ray", because the "blue" is commmon word. Any idea?
"blu-ray"
