AI clearly dominates the chart as the most frequent keyword in recent domain sales, highlighting the continued strength of artificial intelligence–related branding in the domain market. Other commonly appearing keywords include city, food, health, project, restaurant, agent, house, smart, capital, free, life, online, soul, app, and care, reflecting a mix of tech, lifestyle, local, and service-oriented naming trends. Thanks for posting, what are you using as the source of the sales?

The reports rely on a curated database of domain sales compiled from publicly reported marketplace transactions and daily domain auctions. We monitor major domain auctions and marketplaces, which generate hundreds of sales each day. These transactions are continuously tracked and recorded to build and maintain our dataset.

Nice breakdown - the AI keyword dominance is striking but not surprising given current demand. Interesting to see 'restaurant' and 'food' still holding strong alongside the tech-heavy terms.

Had a look at the Market Pulse dashboard itself - clean layout, love that the summary stats (total sales, median, average, highest) are right at the top. Two things that would make it even more useful:

1. The year filter is a good start, but a month-by-month drill-down would be the real unlock. Right now it's a snapshot, and it's hard to tell whether a keyword like 'AI' is still accelerating or plateauing. Even a simple trend line would add a lot.

2. The extension share pie chart gets crowded with that many TLDs. A top-10 bar chart with the rest grouped as 'other' might be easier to read at a glance.

Still in beta so I get it - but for a free tool this already adds real value. Looking forward to seeing it evolve.

The dataset is expected to grow significantly between now and Monday as we finalize April’s data. For now, this snapshot reflects the current state of the chart. Notably, despite analyzing 3,014 domain sales, “AI” has not appeared in the top 20 keywords this month, even though it ranked in previous months. It will be interesting to see whether this trend shifts as additional data is incorporated once April officially closes.
