More NameDrive Errors

My parking page gave me a white page with the text error.

NameDrive.com had following message:

Database Error
Our Database Servers are restarting. Please check back in a few moments...


Looks like they have been having more and more downtime recently

Yes, unfortunately i get the same 'error' for my domains and database servers are restarting already too much time.

it's been down for at least 3 hours. There's another thread on this in Domain Discussion. Hopefully they'll get it worked out soon.

I'm getting reallly tired of this. Obviously some people have no idea of Christmas cheer. We are doing everything we can to get over this again.

People are obviously making a concerted effort to carry out their evil plan to put us out of business by 2006, so please don't move any domains away or see us as the bad guys on this issue as that is precisely what these idiots want to achieve. We have carried out significant measures to ensure that this sort of thing doesn't affect us, but the attacks have been getting bigger and bigger and ever-more aggressive. Some people obviously just can't deal with competition on a level playing field and have to resort to this.

Sorry everryone, we will be back up as soon as possible and make sure that we are, again, the only ones who end up losing out in this matter.

Hang in there and thanks for the updates. I just loaded in 100+ domains with you guys. Great system.

Remember, (if this is an attack from a competitor) the more time they spend working on your business, the less time they spend working on their business. If they can't spend the time making themselves better, then the only thing they can do is try to make their competition worse.

That's not a long term winning strategy...although it did work for Microsoft IE against Netscape.

Sorry for my silence. I've been travelling for 10 hours to get down to snow-bound Austria and spending the following 3 hours trying to get the Internet up in one of Europe's most third-world countries.

The attack has again been repelled, the stats are being updated as we speak. Sorry again for my silence and for the continued nastiness being directed our way.

I'll be more responsive tomorrow once I've slept and found out how Austrian internet works.

Thanks for your support, this is horribly frustrating for us as we don't feel we've deserved wave after wave of attack. It is certainly looking like paying the money to bring these people to justice is the only way to go. An investment, but one that should hopefully prove to be worth it.

Of course we support Namedrive. Forget domains for 24 hours??? Thats like taking booze from an alcoholic, Cigarettes from a smoker, Porn from a perv, The list goes on and on. It cant be done if your anything like me 24-7-365
