Anyone have an idea of what these sites are worth. They get around 10K/month - mostly type-in traffic. 75% of traffic appears to be from the U.S.

Nice names - I would say just the names at least $60,000 up but if you're making 10K/month why would you want to sell ?? I would keep them for sure.

If you want to sell them I strongly suggest you contact Yamaha - Honda -Suzuki - Puegot - Italjet - Piaggio - Vespa - Gilera - Tgb >> and on and on and put it up for an auction once you get their attention - Put a big reserve on it and sit back and watch these massive/rich companies get into a bidding war - who knows where it would end ???

These domains would be an excellent long term investment to a manufacturer IMO.
As long as you can set it up properly I don't think you have anything to loose

ps - Dirtbike.com was posted here recently and I suggested the same thing to the owner - he went for a quick easy option and sold it for $75,000 within a week or two - the deal was arranged by someone here at NP's I beleive.

Actually, I don't know what the revenue is. We're looking into purchasing it from a guy in New Zealand. I'm trying to get a gauge as to what it's worth.

It is 10K uniques/month also.

They are great names IMO - good luck in snagging them - you may have just increased your competition for them by posting here ?

Yep not such a good idea to post for appraisals as this will more than likely be indexed by search engines.(soon)

Now if the owner gets a look you may have lost yourself a good deal.
I'd have it removed if you are serious about the names. (IMHO!)

bad thing about asking for appraisals here for a domain your didn't buy yet is that you may have gotten more poeple intrested in buying the domain. other than the seller himself reading the appraisals.

The domains are worth at least $200k and potentially upwards to $500k.

I have a strong disagreement over anyone who says you will only get $120K or less for these domains. At the very least, the domains will fetch 12 months of revenue. A more likely scenario is 2-5 years of revenue. Moreover, one must consider the domains have value over and above just the monthly revenue. They are generic terms and have a wide variety of potential end-user uses.

These are premium domain names, without a doubt. I'd assume the value would be in the mid to high $xx,xxx range to a reseller and low $xxx,xxx range to a motivated buyer.
