a friend has said to me .mobi programming in no different than normal programming , just made smaller for phones , is this true ?

following w3c validation seems to be a lot more important for making a mobile website (since the browsers can range so much). try reading some articles specifically about making mobile websites. here's one to start with: How to Design and Build a Mobile Web Site

Yes, ive tried it and its complexity is comparable to j2me as well... only j2me has better support and more powerful ide's
