Missing drops?

Has anyone else noticed that today's .COM and .NET drops haven't actually deleted yet? I've been sitting here waiting with my custom script on for over 6 hours for a few good names -- what happened?

I was told that there was maintenance on the system earlier today, but before the normal drop times. Anyone know what's going on?

Quite interesting... I had my system running checking three domains that were supposed to expire yesterday all day and night, woke up this morning to find that they still hadn't ever caught the domains when they were available. I'm not quite sure how, but Name.com and another registrar were able to get the names instantly when they became available without WHOIS ever being updated, leaving me in the dust. I'm still confused as heck, seeing as how I was using InterNic's WHOIS database, the one that should've been cleared first.

Anyone else have a similar experience?
