Minimum holding period

Hi
I read somewhere that you need to hold a domain for 60 days before you can sell it. Is this accurate?? Or does this relate to transfer to a different registrar (ie. can push to another name with same registrar but not transfer to another)?

With some registrars you actually do have to hold it for a certain amount of time. That's why you need to read the fine print when registering domains with certain registrars. Such Registrars that don't have that restriction include NamePros, GoCelly.com, and NameCheap.com. Those are just the ones I've had some experience with.

You can sell whenever you want but you may have trouble transfering the domains away. Meanwhile you can do a push to the buyer account at the same registrar.
It seems some registrars like Netsol make you pay dear if you transfer away... so read the fine print.
