Minimize forums

I feel it would be nice to be able to minimise/collapse some of the forums on the index so that we can quickly get to the content we want.

There are a lot of forums and some of them I don't have intentions of browsing, such as the adult sections. Would be a nice addition if possible.

Thanks for the suggestion; at the moment all sub-forums are collapsed (Drop down navigation), but not the main category or top forum. By default, it is necessary to have all the top + category forums showing. However, your suggestion does have some merit and we can do some research on potential usability pros/cons in that sector. Naturally we want to make sure that ease of use is a key factor.

What are the odds do you think, that someone may collapse a forum, have it collapsed for months, forget it's there, and potentially miss something good or post in the wrong forum because they no longer see the correct one they should have posted in due to the collapse?

I see your point, especially as the admin of the forum. Sometimes there are forums who people will never have an interest in (or so I believe) like my example in the original post. It's not a massive issue, just though it would clean the index up a bit.

Moved some stuff around. Maybe that will help a little. :)

Actually, it'd be cool if we had a checkbox in settings to hide adult content, rather than just an age limit.
