.US domains.US domains
Sounds like a domain name to me. :imho:

Yup, and remembering that evaluating the value of a domain is very subjective, his million dollar domain could be reg fee to someone else. Then again, maybe the owner of sex.com has taken ill and needs to sell, sell, sell!

Maybe someone will bid and we'll see the highest recorded .name sale ever.

Im sorry but if this guy has the money to buy something that is worth 8 figures plus other items with great value. Also the money to give everyone a "Free Gift". Im pretty sure he has money for his "Health". Its a scam/publicity stunt IMO. It does sound like a domain but its prolly worthless.

I googled Morgan Stanley, I can't figure out what that could have to do with it. Maybe it is a Car? The first production Mustang Shelby, I dunno, I am clueless, I will keep an eye on this one.

It's probably a non-existent item:D. The seller will probably buy something cheap on eBay with the million, if a buyer is crazy enough to spend 1 million dollars.

I wondered about the Stanley connection too, especially not having anything to do with stocks, etc. My first thought was something to do with the Stanley Steamer (automobile) or the Stanley Steemer (carpet cleaner) but that would hardly be a million dollar domain or related to Morgan Stanley either..

You guys are thinking too hard. It's probably not even a domain.

On the same page: "I HAVE BE POSTED UP 3 MYSTERY AUCTIONS & I'M GIVING AWAY ITEMS THAT AN APPRAISAL SYSTEM REVEALED TO BE WORTH OVER $25,000 A PIECE"

That's already fraud to me.

"I am willing to part with something that I know may one day be sold for a high seven figure or 8 figure price."...yeah like 60'000 years from now.

I'm sorry...I'm cynical. It's probably an antique.

CLUE#3 It is both common and rare at the same time. For an example, diamonds are common but the Hope diamond is rare. Remember, this is just an example. I am not saying that the item has anything to do with diamonds. But then again, I am not saying that it doesn't (wink).

That is the clue that gave it away for me. This lead me to investigate the guy. Its quite obvious to us domainers what is being talked about when he is saying this.

Thing is, the seller obviously said bidders are bidding for an empty box. So whatever happens, it's probably something you can literally put in an empty box. If I paid a million dollars for an empty box, I'll sue the person if they give me a "free gift" without the empty box that I paid for. :D

You're probably wondering why I didn't just auction the item off directly if it's worth so much. Well, the answer is simple....I believe that DIRECTLY AUCTIONING THIS ITEM OFF WOULD ATTRACT TOO MUCH MEDIA ATTENTION. After all, if I were to directly place this item up for auction I would most likely find it on the news segment of every major television network in the country within the first 24 hours and I am just trying to avoid that type of publicity .

Yeah whatever, what a joke. Millionaires didn't get to be that way by buying "mystery boxes", what a scam he's not going to get jack. Doesn't want the publicity? Whatever if it's so good the publicity will only drive the price through the roof.

That's exactly what I was thinking. There are private auctions held all the time, and many are not revealed to the public. Unless the person's auctioning land on the moon, he/she's attracting more attention with a million dollar BIN price for a mysterious box.

Check out his testimonials. A lot of them are from ex-members who are "no longer a registered user". This scammer needs to get a life.
