It's been a beautiful day where I live and I've been excited all day. Yesterday, I discovered what I think is a perfect domain hack. No long stories I'll go straight to the point..

Because the ccTLD domain name is still unregistered, I'll not give you guys the name but I'll try to give a good description. The .com of the domain hack was sold some years ago for over $1.5 million dollars. The name is less than 6L and is a dictionary word. The ccTLD extension completes the word and is an exact match of the .com
The .com was registered over 15 years ago and other popular extensions of the name have been taken, that's to tell you how popular and valuable the name is.
With over 20 million monthly broad searches and about 500k exact word searches, I don't think I'll be making a mistake registering the name.
Now my question, I would like to do a quick flip.. I'm not a fan of keeping a domain name for years before selling it when I know I won't be using it. So if I register the name today. How soon can I put it up for sale? I'm thinking same day? Anyone bought a good name in the past and sold it same day? Or next?

There are 6 recorded 1.5m sales.

3 of which are 6L or under dictionary words.

F.ly is not a valid domain.

Russ.ia is not available because .ia isn't an extension.

Depos.it is also not available.

So uh.... The **** you talkin' 'bout Willis?

Some say OP already sold it for a million, sipping cocktails on a warm sandy beach, spanking tanned asses and getting his nails done.

Can you take Roofi.ng too?

about cheesecak.es, i have a family member who for years has made the best cheesecakes i've tasted anywhere in the world. seriously the best, and she can't even eat them. hasn't ever taken a bite. many people have encouraged her to start her own business but she ran into the regulatory wall, so to speak, and found that getting a commercial space and food safety compliance to make her cheesecakes was too much of a burden.

that was years ago but now that cheesecak.es is in my account, i have asked her to reconsider. have a proper business plan drawn up and join something like kickstarter for funding and she can use the domain for this purpose as long as she'd like. if she chooses not to, you'll find the domain on the auction block in short order.

sadly, i have no such story for roofi.ng but i wish you the best of luck.

Wow, I made the top headline on NP this week and I see some comments saying this is the best thread they seen in a while. One or two people benefited from this thread, and I know some also found good names to register while searching for my secret domain name hack. Y'all are welcome.

Yesterday was a busy day, I got the shocker of my life and was hospitalized (jk) when I found out the domain hack which I 'discovered' has actually been registered since 2011. The reason I haven't been replying any posts on here since Sunday.

My story..
I checked with a registrar over the weekend, Saturday to be precise, and the domain Dati.ng was available. I checked the domain availability with the same registrar on Sunday before I created this thread and Dati.ng was still available. After this thread went live and a few people tried to guess, @DNGear told me to check again if the name was stil available which I did, but in a different way. Instead of checking with the registrar I used earlier, I went to whois.com.ng and dang!

Domain Name: dati.ng
Domain ID: 36349-NIRA
WHOIS Server: whois.nic.net.ng
Referral URL:
Updated Date: 2016-03-24T23:00:19.147Z
Creation Date: 2011-02-23T10:28:10.974Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2016-02-23T10:28:10.995Z

As you can see, the domain has been registered since 2011 even before NiRA started selling .NG names in 2013. At first, I thought someone from NP (probably a NiRA registrar) figured out the name after reading my thread and played a fast one on me. But the registration date says otherwise. I was like WTF!! I checked back with the registrar that told me the name was available earlier, but this time they said it's taken. I did a quick research and found out domain name availability results are cached and some names which may be shown as available by a registrar, may have been taken. *Shrugs* Well, we learn everyday. I had to move on..

I began my search for another million dollar hack, I found Fucki.ng but then another disappointment, NiRA doesn't allow use of their domain names for Porn and won't allow registration of names with sex, porn, fuck, etc. Estibot says Fucking.com is worth $1,000,000

To cut the long story short, I got me Roofi.ng

http://www.estibot.com/appraise.php?a=appraise&data=Roofing.com

Good hack init? Premium word hack and the .Com Estibot value is $789,000 I'm looking for appraisals and would like to do a quick flip like I said in my first post.

Thanks for reading :)

Just honest curiosity,
you didn't buy the domain 'yesterday' because you weren't sure if you could flip it within days?

If you're so sure you can sell it as high as you sound, why didn't you buy it already?
again; pure curiosity here :)

Thanks Haris! I just regged this one. Made this thread worth reading, for me.

Oh okay. But does that mean Roofi.ng won't sell for at least 0.25% of $789,000 Estibot value of Roofing.com?

Headover to namebio.com - search for domain sales for .ng domains. You will find this:

loopi.ng 2,478 USD
mail.ng 1,000 USD
belo.ng 4,650 USD
tickets.ng 4,092 USD

These are the 4 recorded sales for .ng domains.

Now head over for to Estibot and check what the .com equivalent of these domains above are worth and compare them to what the .ng domains sold for. That might help give you a estimate figure to work with

Wow, painedmofo.com is a great opportunity to earn millions. Dont miss it OP

I think you missed OP's post few days ago where he clarified that the domain he thought could've been hand-registered was 'dati.ng' .. 'dating.com' sold for 1,750,000 USD.

And even though 'dati.ng' is not a million dollar domain, it's still one of the best hacks in any extension. When 'belo.ng' can sell for 4,650 USD, dati.ng can sell for 5 figures to an end-user easily..

The OP did not say that domains like VRVying.com, Sextingly.com and TwitFam.com are million dollar domains.. he simply asked "Are they worth anything?".

I hope it's clear to you now.

You won't. You'll be told on this forum that you can make millions. In reality you will get 1 or 2 $90 offers on Sedo every few years.
