I think that there have been 297 Ribbons sold thus far.
The 1,000 ribbons is the quantity available in the shop. As they are bought, the quantity goes down. RJ can "refill" at any time, of course.

In any event, 297 ribbons at 400 $NP each is 118,800

118,800 * .015 = $1,782 "real" dollars
118,800 * .016 = $1,901 "real" dollars
118,800 * .017 = $2,020 "real" dollars
