Some of the domains I see him selling I wouldn't think are that great, and appear to average around $5,000.

For instance, Goodbyefat.com for 4k. And about 70% of all of the ones he's sold.

Perhaps it because he has over 200k domains.

It's merely a numbers game. The more domains you have, the better chance you have to sell domains for five and six figures.
