Does this guy have massive exposure or something due to his rep and domainmarketplace website?

Some of the domains I see him selling I wouldn't think are that great, and appear to average around $5,000.

For instance, Goodbyefat.com for 4k. And about 70% of all of the ones he's sold.

Perhaps it because he has over 200k domains.

His gigantic domain portfolio brings gargantuan amounts of traffic to his domain sales website.

Perhaps it because he has over 200k domains.
It's merely a numbers game. The more domains you have, the better chance you have to sell domains for five and six figures. :greedy:

Holding time is essential to get more/big dollars unless you pick up a cheap LLL.com somewhere. His expense to maintain product must be staggering.

(One thing to remember is that Mike Mann needs to sell about $2.5+ million worth of domains per year to break even and that he is NOT a flipper. The average holding time for his sold domains is usually more than 5 years.)

Antipollution seemed kinda cheap for Mike. Everything related to fighting climate change is going to massive in the coming decades.

these sales you hear about every few weeks on NP aren’t his only income

He sold BuyDomains for $80 million to NameMedia in 2005, and still owns a 15% stake

His DomainMarket.com earns about $400,000 per month

He founded SEO.com and Phone.com, which the domains speak for themselves and assumadley make a decent profit
