Microsoft doesn't own Windows10.com, which is to be launched on July 29

Windows 10 has been released to manufacturing, as the July 29th launch extravaganza approaches.
The launch will mean one thing for the “lucky” registrant of Windows10.com: a huge increase in traffic.

Well, this domain name is going to cost heavily on Microsoft's pocket, should they decide to purchase it; which they should!

Microsoft will be just fine without owning Windows10 dot com. A 'windows 10' search will always lead to MicroSoft's website in the first result.

And they will be coming out with Windows 11 so quick people will skip 10 lol

MS has a TM on “Windows” which has been around for years, way before he registered this name

He would be better off giving the name to MS, because he would lose in a UDRP

Yeah I don't see ms paying a dime for that domain since basically they already own it. I hope the person who registered it doesn't have high hopes. The only dollar signs he will likely see will be preceded by a negative sign.

Very good points. Well-known companies don't need to have domains names matching each product they sell. And anyways, most people who query the phrase "Windows 10" will be looking for solutions to problems that wouldn't be occurring if Microsoft wasn't one of the most incompetent companies in the history of mankind, resting on its laurels, riding on a smart business decision made by Bill Gates, who is one of the biggest pieces of shit in the history of mankind.
