"Microsoft has a new browser that they are calling Microsoft Edge.
Three years ago there was an existing business on Chrome.com and Google decided to make them an offer and purchased the domain.
Now Edge.com is also an existing business and not sitting there parked or owned by a domain investor. The company Edge Systems LLC was founded in 1985."

This was an excerpt from an article on TheDomains

A Chinese buyer registered MicrosoftEdge.com in January. UDRP coming your way guy!!

The question is:
Will Microsoft be buying the domain name Edge.com? Or will the current owner be willing to part with this domain, especially when his own company is associated with that name?
If yes, this is going to be a life changing deal!

What do you think?

Registered since 1989. Definitely the oldest WHOIS lookup I've done in a while!

Don't know about the domain name, but the browser itself surprisingly great. Faster than Chrome

The site is optimised for 800x600 screen. Look what I've found on the source:

// Insert a div tag to the end of the BODY with menu HTML in place for IE4.
also
// In NS4, create a reference to a new layer and write the items to it.

Thus, the site was created even before Firefox exist, and definitely not the best representation for a modern browser such as Edge. Such a same if Redmond did not buy this one!
