Just brought the domain name MichaelOwen.Net for $20 off someone on DP Forums. Owen is an Engladn footballer, one of Englands best strikers and a real talent.

Could I get some appraisals on it please?

In the UK to the right buyer you may fetch a nice bit of money for it.

Depending on what club he is with now (Newcastle I think) I would look at trying to sell it to a fan of the club or one of the fans.

If you build it up into a Michael Owen fan site it will probably get a lot of search through traffic and therefore be good for Adsense.

All in all I would say to the average buyer, Reg Fee.

To the right person (and you will have to seek them out actively) It may fetch $xx - $xxx

Did you look at MichaelOwen.com? Fancy site that doesn't work on Firefox at least. I think you have a real opportunity to develop or find an end user to develop and beat that fancy site.

Football fanatics will be motivated. Try finding a way to reach them and you may turn a nice profit. Be aware that not all public personalities are ok with others turning profit on their name.
